Pros

Not a huge amount to mention. The peers are quite good, genuine people. Good as a first sales job, good exposure to niche industries and technologies, so in this sense a good CV builder (provided you last long enough)

Cons

- Perks non existent except healthcare. No full time office based, no flexibility, no pension, minimum holidays etc. - Below average commission structure, with a fixed goal in mind - they don't want you to earn more than OTE, targets doubled this year, commissions halved. - No accelerators = incentive to over achieve. - About 20% of the Dublin office have been hired and fired in the last 6 months. - Very boys club, a lot of risky sexuality and gender jokes both within Dublin and worse in Miami (including executive level), frequent trips to the strip club, hosted by management.

Pros

You get a free trip to Miami every year.

Cons

I joined Kaseya with high hopes, but unfortunately, my experience here has been nothing short of disappointing. The work culture at Kaseya is incredibly toxic, and it has taken a toll on the mental health of myself and many colleagues. The company claims to value its employees, but in reality, there is a lack of genuine support and respect for staff. There is a constant pressure to meet unrealistic deadlines and unreasonable expectations, leading to a perpetual sense of stress and anxiety among employees. Furthermore, communication within the organization is severely lacking. Important decisions are often made without proper consultation with the teams directly affected, leaving employees feeling undervalued and powerless. The management style at Kaseya is highly top-down, with little regard for employee feedback or concerns. This lack of transparency and inclusivity fosters an environment where employees feel unheard and unappreciated. Additionally, the workload is often overwhelming, with long hours becoming the norm rather than the exception. There is a persistent "workaholic" culture, which further exacerbates the negative impact on staff mental health. I believe that a healthy work culture is essential for the well-being of employees and the success of any organization. Unfortunately, Kaseya's current culture falls far short of providing such an environment. In conclusion, I would caution anyone considering joining Kaseya to carefully weigh the potential impact on their mental health. While the company may offer promising opportunities, the toxic work culture and lack of consideration for employees' well-being make it a challenging place to thrive and grow.

Pros

Some of the remaining folks from the many Kaseya acquisitions are really lovely…

Cons

Kaseya is a massive sales org masked as a tech company. They only care about the growth and development of those in Sales, they put on a face about growing their own in other areas but refuse to invest in actually training and marketing enabling their staff. All of the perks and benefits from orgs they acquire are removed as soon as possible. They are an “in office” organization, so be prepared for commutes just to sit on zoom calls with your peers around the world. Every little thing is micromanaged from the very top, there is no trust of the highly skilled people employed via acquisition. If you’ve been there a while and make decent money, there’s always a valid fear that they’ll lay you off to replace you with a lower cost hire. They say they value grit and resilience as an excuse to make staff work with shoestring staff and minimal resources.
