Pros

Version 1 is in an excellent location for transport and shops. You may have an hour for lunch and with Temple bar so close you will always have some where nice to eat.

Cons

.Version 1 does not keep to its core values.. most training is in house or DIY (Brain dumps or VCE no labs to work with). Team leads that are only interested in your paceman being chargeable and not in you or what is happening in your life. You get reviewed 4 times a year to stop you asking for more money. Most of the reviews on glass-door were done by grads. The grads are told to add a review in there first week of working in Version 1. So DO NOT BELIEVE THE HYPE about best place to work.

Pros

The people I worked with were great!

Cons

Senior Management's goal is to grow as fast as possible, and it's costing employees. A new, much stricter, sick policy was implemented recently. There are several issues with it, but to pick one: if you're out sick on 4 non-consecutive occasions in a 12 month period, you are sent a Letter of Concern. 4 half days would also be considered a trigger for this letter. Further offences lead to further actions or "triggers", disciplinary action etc. They claim the policy is there to support staff, and there are suggestions to the same in it, but the bottom line is clear, this policy is there to terminate staff if desired should they fall ill. A very senior manager said they've been great in terms of sick leave, having increased it recently (true), but this policy contradicts and regresses on it completely. GDPR - they don't know where or how the confidential health info is going to be stored and how it will be accessed, by who and for how long etc, yet they launched this policy and the forms are mandatory, they must be submitted after every illness. The form asks questions like reason for sick leave but does not make it clear that you don't have to share any confidential info. People who have medium-long term conditions are extremely worried about this policy, women are also concerned about hitting the triggers due to something as routine as sick days due to menstruation cycles. Lots of concerns were raised by employees, no adjustments yet. The company is losing the things that made it a great place to work: two-way trust, hiring good people, excellence. Several years ago I would have said 5 stars. Due to the demands of fulfilling contracts as they scale, they are sponsoring and hiring incompetent staff - some of whom cannot speak english, despite joining an english speaking team in a technical capacity. They are charging clients daily for this. In addition to several occurrences like the above, they are still being very vocal about core values and empowering people.

Pros

Job Security. Great place to start a career and get experience

Cons

I felt the need to write this review as this is mainly completed by fresh happy Grads who have landed themselves a career. I would not be fooled by this Great place to work malarkey that you hear. This company bleeds you dry and works you to the core. They take on new customers and then think about the staff afterwords. Breaking peoples backs with more work when their back is already broken. On top of that pay well below the market Average. The company makes themselves look great to new joiners, forgetting about current staff that are unhappy.

Many thanks for your feedback, we appreciate every review posted from current or former employees, regardless of their tenure with the organisation. It's unfortunate to read that you are currently experiencing some disillusionment in your role, luckily we have lots of mechanisms in place to help & support employees and hopefully we can assist you in making the next 5 years as enjoyable as the first 5. Whether that is through 1:1's with your manager or HR or availing of our Rotation policy or looking at different opportunities within our Capability structure - I'd encourage you to take the initiative and reach out. We are very proud of our Great Place to Work ethos and listing - mostly because it is something that our employees are responsible for - any accolades achieved are because of the survey results that they complete independently & individually. We don't just rely on external benchmarks but correlate the annual results with our internal quarterly employee surveys, both regularly exceed participation levels of 70%+ with even higher scores on levels of engagement. Our Q4 survey results revealed an 80% engagement score that reflects the fact that most of our employees are very happy! Our pay & benefits are regularly reviewed to ensure we keep pace with the market and this quarter alone saw 100 people promoted as part of our career development framework and increases to match. Our quarterly rhythm ensures that no one is ever more than a quarter away from a salary review.
