Pros
- Founding CEO & CTO actually care about their company and employees and treat them well. They are transparent, honest, and understand the importance of taking care of their people. - The majority of leaders and managers want to enable their people to succeed. - Many great managers and co-workers who contribute to an overall positive and respectful culture. - A company who actually cares about their customers and puts customer support at the top of their priority list. - Remote work is well supported and embraced. - Family/personal life is important and valued. - Excellent benefits and perks. How one is treated when leaving a company is a good indicator of the true heart and culture of their leaders and co-workers. In my final weeks of employment at Teamwork, I felt overwhelmingly appreciated and honored for my contributions and time invested there. And that was not only coming from my awesome co-workers, but even the founding CEO and CTO each took time to personally express their appreciation and wish me all the best in my next endeavor. And there were many others who made my exit so memorable and encouraging. That's the kind of people who make Teamwork an incredible place to work.
Cons
- Can be stressful at times trying to meet deadlines. - Significant learning curve for new hires, so onboarding could use a lot of improvement to bring new hires up to speed. - Team Lead positions need more vetting to prevent putting the wrong person in a position of leading others.
