Pros

Compensation is good in some roles, mainly management roles. Work with some of the larger IT companies.

Cons

Little or not career opportunities. Vast Majority of their business is with one client - eggs in a single basket. They couldn't careless about their employees, main role they offer is Equipment Maintenance Technician (EMT) and they are often referred to as 'box openers' by management, as unpacking hardware is one of their primary tasks. Their HQ is Santa Clara is an case study in inefficiency, 'how not to do things'. They have little or not processes for anything, and fumble from task to task with zero transparency. Requests go into the black-hole and sometimes appear on the other side. Culture and Values are in an acronym called PACE - most staff wouldn't know what the letters stand for.

Pros

- Working within large tech companies- Google, Facebook etc is the only good thing that the company may offer.

Cons

- Lack of sound management - decisions are made without proper understanding on the processes - No one cares about employees - HR/Management do not care about employees or about talent retention - Lack of benefits - At times management lies to employees and customers - Lack of career growth/development opportunities

Thank you for the note. I took the CEO role 9 months ago. We have created the COE; we have created a strategy; we have hired a new leader for HR; we have hired a compensation director; we are creating job families for career pathing; we are working to review all locations with a total compensation approach; and I could go on and on. I am very sorry we are not moving faster, but we are moving. I appreciate the candor, and as always, I am happy to meet with you to understand your thoughts on how to improve our Talent both personally and professionally - daily. E. President & CEO, Astreya

Pros

The client which is mainly Google. You get to have the food, the parties, working with some of the best out there.

Cons

No Career advancement. A lot of talk about 'family' and 'caring' which is just to follow the startup mentality. They do not care about you. Constantly promise to add perks but nothing ever happens Main focus is on the employees in the US, they have no idea about how EMEA works and they do not care. Do not stand up to clients when they give unreasonable requests
