Every day, each and everyone of us can stand up against racial prejudice and intolerance. We can all promote a culture of inclusion and respect for one another #ACTivating Change Today (ACT) is Baxter's global initiative to advance racial justice across the organisation. As a company we commit to ensuring we address disparities and eliminate racial discrimination. In March, Baxter launched ACT to employees in the UK and Ireland.
Mental Health Awareness Week 2021 Supporting and promoting the #mentalhealth of employees is critical to us at Baxter. It always has been. But this year especially it is more important than ever. Throughout lockdown, we have supported a number of initiatives for employees, including a variety of exercise and mindfulness resources to help relieve feelings of isolation and stress. There have been a number of additional pathways for people to connect; walk and talk, coffee chats and virtual meet ups. We hope this has left teams feeling supported through some of our most challenging times, personally and professionally. As lockdown restrictions begin to lift, we are still committed to supporting our employees and their mental health. To fit with this year’s #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek theme, we are encouraging people to spend some time in nature and use this as an opportunity to relax and reflect.
