Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m glad to hear that you felt the sense of teamwork and collaboration that we work hard to cultivate at PetSafe Brands. Creating a positive environment where teammates support one another is incredibly important to us. You also mentioned our focus on metrics. We do place an emphasis on clear expectations and measurable goals because we believe they help provide clarity, accountability, and opportunities for growth. That said, we are always listening and working to ensure our processes support our teammates while enabling us to serve our customers and their pets well. We appreciate the feedback and the role you played in contributing to our team. Jenny Swanson (Chief People Officer)

Pros

Benefits, dogs, good management, great coworkers

Cons

Moved our work from home days from 2 days to 1, low pay, and lots of layoffs lately. Hoping they don’t let AI replace a bunch of positions.

Unfulfilled potential

Pros

Nice campus, some decent job perks, could be a good place to work.

Cons

Micro management from the top down. Expectations for A+ work without support or resources. Efforts to make improvements are blocked or delayed as upper leadership is unable to make decisions. Cliqueish culture and unwillingness to listen to any idea that contradicts the predetermined path.

Thank you for taking the time to share this candid feedback and for your more than ten years of service to PetSafe Brands. We’re grateful for the commitment, institutional knowledge, and care that long-tenured leaders bring to our organization. We’re encouraged to hear that you found value in the campus, perks, and the potential you saw here—and we also take seriously the concerns you raised. Feedback around trust, decision-making, resourcing, and clarity of expectations is important, and it’s something our leadership team continues to examine as we work to strengthen how we support our people. Over the past several years, we’ve been navigating meaningful change as an organization, and we recognize that periods of transformation can create tension between high expectations and the support required to meet them. Your comments reinforce the importance of aligning goals with data, ensuring leaders are empowered to lead, and creating space for healthy challenge and diverse perspectives. We are committed to continuing to listen, learn, and improve—particularly when it comes to how we equip and trust our teams, how decisions are made, and how ideas are surfaced and evaluated. Thoughtful feedback like yours helps us better understand where we need to grow. We sincerely wish you the best in your next chapter and appreciate the impact you made during your time with PetSafe Brands. Jenny Swanson (Chief People Officer)
