Pros
This role allowed me to leave the hospitality industry and start working in an office environment, for which I am grateful. The job can be stressful and soul destroying, but there is a light-hearted atmosphere to the place, as the staff are fairly young. As a recent graduate looking to get out of hospitality, it was good experience.
Cons
The customer support role (for a fintech company) can be very tough, especially working on the phones. A high level of English is definitely requred. There are opportunities for growth, but the salary jumps are very minute.
