Pros
- The team colleagues are awesome people. Quite the opposite to the high management, though. - Great start for your sales & SAAS Career, but that's it. NOTE: Use it as a trampoline to get to know people in Core Companies and get a better job, because here the only thing you'll get is anger, depression and frustration.
Cons
- Culture is terrible - waaaay different from the American culture. Though, the Dublin office keep "selling themselves" as Great Place to Work (award won in the US only, not here in Dublin - please don't fall for that!). - Company often ask for feedback and opinion and turns out they do exactly the opposite from what all the employees ask. It's really a joke. - There is a lot of competition amongst teams (not on a good competition, a really bad one instead), and often you have your leads, accounts and deals stolen from you, and you can't complain. Management doesn't do anything about it and say you have to learn how to live with it - because you're just a contractor, so they don't care about you. - Good employees with a lot of motivation are often used to create/improve processes, but there are ZERO recognition for that. So after a couple of months, the happiest person in the team becomes the depressed and 'feel-like-sh*t' one. Thanks again, Marketstar. That was exactly my case. - The company wait until you decide to leave, to then give you (maybe!!!) a promotion or a raise that is definitely deserved. - I've seen colleagues losing their family members during COVID and they couldn't even go home because they didn't have PTO left or they would need to quarantine in a hotel and they didn't have a laptop to bring with them to keep working from wherever they are.
