      Flexible work schedule, great work colleagues and atmosphere.

      Cons

      Complete lack of transparency from management on discussions regarding career progression, employees are actively told to be patient for promotions while there is no movement towards allowing progression internally. The department hasn’t had any significant promotions in a long time so there is a lot of people stuck at the same level for years. Current writers are also encouraged by management to do the work of senior positikms knowing that they will not get promoted to that level or be compensated for the high workloads.

      Decent pay, good PTO and benefits

      Everything else. ZERO training. They hand you a laptop (which is garbage) and say good luck. There is no "team." Everyone is on their own. The senior techs all reached their peak 20 years ago and don't even know what BACnet is. The bureaucracy is unbearable. Ordering a simple part is nearly impossible. There are so many apps you have to check in on everyday and they care more about those metrics than they care about the service their customers are receiving. If you want to get your butt kicked everyday with zero support at a company that specializes in taking advantage of their customers, this is the job for you.
