Dublin City Council Dublin City Half Marathon 2026 🏃‍♂️ Last month, Dublin came alive for the Dublin City Half Marathon, and we were proud sponsors of this fantastic event in the heart of the capital. It was especially inspiring to see so many Irish Life colleagues taking part — showing determination, resilience, and real team spirit from start to finish. Our Able Life Employee Resource Group is proud to partner with the Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities (TCPID), helping to create pathways to meaningful employment through work placements, mentoring and paid internships that build skills and confidence. As part of this partnership, we’re delighted to welcome Conor O’Donnell to Irish Life for an eight‑week placement with our Internal Communications & Engagement team, Financial Planning, and in support of our P‑Tech programme. Conor’s journey is a powerful reminder of the value of genuine inclusion and the impact of creating space for every colleague to succeed as their authentic self. This week we took our peer-to-peer Values in Action Awards on tour, setting up a lunchtime activation in our offices with branded cupcakes and an on-the-spot nomination station. Colleagues could pause, say thank you, and nominate someone who brings our EPICC customer promises to life whether through exceptional teamwork, going the extra mile for customers, or supporting others behind the scenes. Our Values in Action programme empowers employees to recognise one another for living our values in real, tangible ways. Every nomination tells a story of someone making a difference, and we are delighted to see so many of those stories being shared.
