Interview
One week after I applied, I received an email from a hiring manager and a calendar invite for an interview the next day with that manager.
During the interview, the interviewer seemed unprepared and was just checking boxes.
For context, I have a background in telecom account management and I am looking to pivot into project management.
It was clear the interviewer hadn’t looked at my resume and was shocked to hear I had a sales background. I could tell after 10 minutes the interviewer had unqualified me. I use the remaining 20 minutes to ask questions about the job.
