The lack of true diversity and inclusion is concerning. A lot of people, even in management are racist and close minded. The systems are old and obsolete.

Oil industry is volatile and the company goes through reorganization every few years creating uncertainty and anxiety at the workplace. Also, the work is not very challenging most of the time which gives way to office politics and favoritism when it comes to promotions and project opportunities.
