      Exciting field and big improvement potential

      Pros

      Exciting Field of working, lots of business trips, various businesses and customers needs and mentality, excellent helpful coworkers.

      Cons

      Management position often based on the network rather than the skills. You have to be Austrian if you want to pretend for a management position. Learning by doing is pushed to the extreme. There are too often lack of pro activity, it is frustrating to see how the management is passive to improve the working processes and to prevent to repeat the same mistake all over again.

      Pros

      Flexibility to work from home. Free coffee / tea / biscuits. Pay rates are competitive with the market, and bonus is offered.

      Cons

      Expected to available 24x7. On call timings make it > 120 hour work week. Constant changes to roster. Poor training and support. Micromanagement and double up on timesheets. No trust or respect from management towards employees. Employees are required to come to the office without a valid reason for the visit. Employees forced to take a day off if they choose not to come to the office. Non existent HR team on Australian shores.

      Poor, inexperienced management, poor Health and safety culture, bend over backwards for the customer, lack of HR dept.
