Pros

Remote Work - ideal for someone who wants to work in Spain or Portugal for a few months Commission can be good if you secure an FX forwards contract Half Health Insurance, Pension.

Cons

High Attrition rate most employees last anywhere from 3 to 9 months on average. Irish SMB market is saturated with too many AEs competing over small amount of profitable prospects. Mid Market companies needed to hit target. Unachievable targets - targets have increased dramatically for 2024, big FX forward contracts required to hit target. Many AEs who have had tenures of over two years face dramatic increases which will lead many to leave the business. Managers are effectively team leads. No office culture or collaboration - you are siloed and will only see your teammates 3 or 4 times per year at company events. Hard to build relationships over Slack. No second screen - WFH allowance insufficient to cover all equipment needed Lack of sales training - almost 9 months into the role before we received sales training You can close many deals and sign up clients but if they do not spend money on their account you will not earn commission from them. Onboarding is a disaster, ticket system extremely frustrating with team in Poland who are under immense pressure and overworked.

Hello! Many thanks for your review! Revolut is a dynamic business that is growing rapidly. We’ve accomplished a great deal in a short span of time, and this ambitious and dynamic environment can be challenging at times. We strongly believe that establishing clear performance expectations helps us all focus on shared objectives and provide targeted support where needed. Key performance indicators (KPIs) are discussed and mutually agreed upon by line managers and employees to ensure alignment. When determining goals, we’re guided by our core values: Never Settle, Get it Done, and Deliver WOW. It’s because of our commitment to these values over the past seven years that we can proudly call ourselves a global financial superapp today. Thank you for your comments and all the best for the future. Best regards - Patrick Hodge, Head of Sales (UK&I)

Pros

- Base salary was good - Benefits were mostly good - Holidays

Cons

- Sacked 70% of my team within 3 weeks of me joining & forced remaining 30% to join other teams while downgrading your job title or else be fired. - Chromebooks are terrible and make daily tasks a nightmare. - Egotistical managers who casually say foul and abusive language in meetings. - When I was forced to move from my original team, I was contacted by HR and alerted I'd be moving teams. I then didn't hear ANYTHING from HR for 5 working days when all I was doing was looking at my laptop as I couldn't work until I was introduced to my new manager. So for 5 days, I had zero contact from anyone while waiting to see who my new manager was. - When the role I initially signed up for was thrown away, I didn't receive a single apology or ounce of sympathy. I could "accept the new terms or leave the company." - Fired countless AE's for not hitting quarterly targets, regardless of what you've done for the company. I was fired over a 4 minute Google Meet and was told not to tell my team-mates. - No culture. Nobody goes near the Dublin office and your only interaction with other people is them asking for help or else complaining about management or telling you someone has been fired. - Was essentially lied to about commission. Barely anyone gets any commission at Revolut yet they tell you you can double your salary off it. - I was a part of a 4 day 'culture workshop' with several other co-workers in which we assessed the culture of the company with management and suggested changes. These changes were made 2 months later, but 50% of the people who were involved no longer work at the company.

Pros

- I like working here. I've had interviews elsewhere since joining but haven't felt like moving yet. - It's not a family, join with a goal in mind. - If you can quickly get up to speed you can, over time, make good commission, if you can't though, you're better off leaving quickly - 100% Remote - Potentially good on the CV, I'm not sure how long for though. - A great place to start as a junior, not so great for experienced sales professional - Some sales staff complain of micromanagement but if you are reaching your revenue target you are given a light touch, if you're activity is medium to high you will hit your target Strategic self sourcing will get you good results and ok commission

Cons

Morale is low Resources are poor - bad Chromebooks, no second screen if you are WFH You are always maximum 6 months away from being fired There are no allowances for a bad Q - you will be on a PIP It is policy to "exit" you from the business if you get less than 50% target in one Q (not legal). Less than 70% 2 Q's in a row and you're out too. No target adjustment for long absences or holidays There is high staff turnover - too high, incredibly high Targets are not reliably achievable Sink or Swim Revolut are burning through the hiring pool, with reputational damage as a result You need to use Revolut, because Revolut will use you Hard to know if high results and fast track promotions are due to luck or skill
