Pros

Fast paced. Great learning in a global multi national Good salary and perks: be under no illusion tho you work for it. Sabbatical mat leave pension ESPP all great. Perks on site of subsidized canteen and free gym Teammates (mostly) are hard workers and very committed but are treated like children. They have to log there every move in two tools, targets are counterintuitive. Great mix and blend of talent Manically busy most of the time however structure is well established

Cons

Narrow career opportunity. Roles are all quite generic Politics is deep seated. If you ain’t playing the game you’re out. Reorg on our reorg each time with major disruption and cold hearted redundancies Everything is over worked into a big deal causing extra waste of time work Reports on our reports with challenging if not inaccurate information Group leaders and above regularly stop top talent moving on to feather their own bed at all levels No accounting of different personalities and diversity is a word not an action. Only focus is male and female Work life balance is a joke. No tolerance at leader level to work from home, unless it’s after hours and meeting needs of the business. A good work week is 80 hours. Salary reviews each year decrease through “creative” new targets set up for teammates to fail, annual review for exceeding teammates get 2% and people meeting targets get 1%. Promotion increase very poor on a good 5% or less. Budget cuts constantly for reviews. In a >5 year period a meets has gone from avg 6% to 1%. Bonus has also been scaled back with payment in shares based on the years performance capped and not paid out or vested for 12 Months. Targets are ALWAYS flawed and the focus is only on budget not the people Management change is constant, illogical and practices favoritism rather then ability Zero focus on Team Leader development Bullying is something I’ve witnessed a fair amount of.

Does not follow own company values at all.

Pros

Nice colleagues. Canteen is not too bad. Free gym.

Cons

Two of the company values are "Do the right thing" and "Be open, honest and direct". Sounds good, but it is apparently to be ignoring by everyone from team lead and up. Discriminating people for having a disability by giving them a hard time when they are off sick with the flu is not doing the right thing. People with disabilities can get the flu just like any other person. And sending them to a disciplinary hearing (yes that's what they call it) with the message that it's because of concerns about the other health issues and that this might cause extra sick days in the future is certainly not the right thing. Especially not if said person simply had the flu and did not take a single minute off regarding this disability. Furthermore, later on denying that this comment wasn't made is not being honest and punishment through false accusations and a bad performance review for being open and direct about seeking legal advice is unacceptable. None of the values have been followed in this case. Other than that it is ridiculous to expect grown ups to constantly show off how well the are at their job by making them boast about in the meetings and thro laughable competitions. We are adults, not children who need a sticker from the teacher. Just leave us alone so we can do the actual job. Some of talk about doing their job more than actually doing it, and are rewarded for it with condescending praise. Yes, great value that. Oh by the way, winning these competitions will result in little more than a pat on the back. Not really worth spending your time on, especially if you are being hounded to reach a high amount of productivity. Also, stop trying to dictate what people do in their free time by openly frowning upon them not spending it on work related activities and nights out that aren't even team related and that we have to pay for ourselves. This is "stimulated" in a very pushy manner. Some people have a life outside of work. It's supposed to be a company, not a cult, and nobody can join in every single time. Especially not if they have to pay for it. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Pros

Well...... i guess you learn how not to treat people in a work environment........

Cons

Take everything you might think about a good employer, and do exactly the opposite....basically a sweatshop at all levels....talking about culture and values doesnt make them real......action does
