Pros

You work 39 hour per week

Cons

In short, this workplace can be described as modern slavery. You're constantly working non-stop, and they expect you to do the work of two people while being paid the minimum wage. From a general operator, you can become a supervisor, and that’s about it. As a supervisor, you'll have the same salary as a general operator, but with a bonus tied to some impossible targets. If you manage to hit 2 out of 5 targets, that's considered good. There will never be enough staff because no one stays long to work for them. This means that you'll get your breaks almost at the end of your shift when they no longer make sense. HR doesn't do their job to maintain a certain number of employees. Everything in the factory is very old, and something breaks down every day. There are certain mechanics who have no idea what they’re doing. Out of 5-8 mechanics, only 2 know how to do their job. Some supervisors are rude and treat people differently if they are of a different nationality than their own, making them work harder. Management doesn’t really care about what happens in the factory as long as everything looks fine on paper. Antony Maguire is the general manager, but when the CEO Declan visits, he only speaks to Pat Kelly, the packing manager (where there are always staffing issues).

Cons

Screaming supervisors, physically difficult job, sometimes even dangerous, one guy got his legs broken.
