Pros

Good peers and good company benefits

Cons

Blue culture is just a name that gets stepped over every time an employee has been bullied by management. There is no system of bottom-up feedback that ensures the company culture is respected. In Dublin, I got to witness how nearly 20 colleagues quit/were let go (before they could talk to HR) with no follow-up from Novartis of such a high turnover of the staff in only one year for that team. I witnessed groups filed complaints to specific managers and how the same complaints were about to happen from different locations for the same managers and how those were silenced across. I saw how as soon as an employee had had enough and was about to talk, managers would quickly portrait him/her in reports with poor performance (that wasn´t true) so as soon as the case got high enough the employee´s version was discredited. I witnessed in meetings management saying "we will hire in India because they are cheap" in front of Indian colleagues who deserved much more than that type of treatment.

Pros

Salary and benefits are excellent The people you work with in Dublin are some of the nicest you'll ever met Good work/life balance if you are efficient and smart about how you worth Company demand the highest quality work and everyone you work with is onboard with that

Cons

Company is forcing everyone to return to office 3 days per week minimum despite all KPIs increasing under the previous fully remote working policy. Senior Leadership at CEO level and one level below have been gaslighting staff as to why remote working choice was removed Recently laid off over 300 people in Dublin as part of a global savings effort that was extremely poorly managed Promotions have been on hold for two years and when they do happen, they are more to do with whether a more senior role is available, than how long you have been ready for that role Senior Leadership have indicated they are finished listening to staff, are ignoring concerns, refusing to answer questions honestly and generally forcing changes through, brutally and without compassion. Culture has completely changed compared to two years ago and this is effecting the entire company. It feels like empathy and compassion are no longer there.

Pros

Good money, Good bonus. Good benefits.

Cons

Toxic leaders protecting by each other. P&O team do a poor job at everything they are involved in. Unachievable objectives Constant change (no chance to get work done) Anti -trans leaders Anti-women leaders "I dont believe in mental health!" was one comment from our leader. People who do the bare minimum but are SEEN get promoted and praise, Those of us to do the work are forgotten or held to a much higher standard.
