Cons
Despite the merger being positioned as bringing together the best of Vodafone and Three, the reality has felt heavily weighted towards Vodafone's policies, processes and ways of working. Legacy Three employee benefits have been removed or aligned to Vodafone's benefits package. Many Three roles have been regraded against Vodafone structures, often resulting in a lower relative position. Decision-making can be slow due to multiple layers of approval and a large executive leadership structure. The integration has created uncertainty for employees as organisational structures continue to evolve. The commitment to protecting high street jobs has largely been achieved through the closure of Three stores and the transfer of employees to Vodafone franchise partners.
