Pros

Highly collaborative culture with strong cross-functional teamwork and opportunities for short-term “gig” assignments. Significant investment in new manufacturing buildings, creating project work opportunities. Supportive and inclusive environment; leadership communicates through emails, town halls, and coffee chats. Excellent learning and development programs; managers encourage career growth and internal mobility. Tuition reimbursement available for undergraduate and graduate degrees. Comprehensive benefits: outstanding healthcare (low deductible PPO, FSA), 1.5x retirement match, annual bonus targets typically met, and wellness incentives. Flexible work culture: generally on-site 4 days/week with flexibility for appointments or illness; generous PTO and easy approval. High job security and positive long-term outlook; layoffs are rare and often voluntary early retirements. New CEO provides clear strategic direction and reinforces company mission.

Cons

Large company structure can slow decision-making and implementation. Swiftwater site is aging and could benefit from modernization. Limited meeting room availability can hinder collaboration. Significant tribal knowledge; knowing the right person is often essential to get information.

Pros

You Learn a lot about GMP/Pharmaceutical Industry since its heavily regulated by the FDA. The pay is good for the position.

Cons

There are limited opportunities for career advancement, particularly for contractors. Training is generally restricted to the specific process equipment required for assigned tasks, with little opportunity for broader skill development. Additionally, the workplace culture can be challenging. Some long-tenured employees appear to feel entitled to treat others disrespectfully, creating a toxic work environment. Their seniority often seems to shield them from accountability, as concerns raised with management frequently go unaddressed. There also appears to be a lack of diversity and inclusion, which contributes to workplace microaggressions, disrespectful behavior, and an environment where not all employees feel equally valued or respected. There is limited opportunity for contractors being hired on a full time basis, they have to leave the company for six months before they can be hired back! No company benefits for contractors!
