Pros

The company started in Ireland is based on low tax incentives. Laid back life. Traveling in Europe and US, good food at nice restaurants, and a lot of time in team building. In theory, need to give good replies on web interfaces and take phone calls. When you give bad answers and ignore calls, usually the customer goes away.

Cons

Low starting salary, about €28K. Payrise is poor. No KPIs. Hiring and career progression are dependent on good looks and race, not merit. Normal bonuses, Discretionary bonuses, and RSUs. But no transparency on how the boss decides. Bias and favoritism are deep-seated. Expect IPFs ( Internal Productivity Factor) where bonuses can be arbitrarily cut by the boss to advance his/her career in line with the company's quarterly operating cost targets. Quiet firing techniques are used. Sometimes expected to go to the USA for 2 - 3 weeks. Hard if you have a family. The company is focused on quarterly revenues and growth.

Pros

There are a handful of people here who are fantastic to work with, are very knowledgeable, and care about the product that's going out the door.

Cons

Leadership is fundamentally out of touch and appears indifferent to employee well-being. The culture is marred by nepotism and a lack of accountability, where 'guiding values' are preached but never practiced. Feedback is discouraged, and those who speak up are often targeted. Expect a 'reward' of more work for the same pay, as promotions are rare and promised bonuses are frequently withheld despite strong site performance. A very frustrating and toxic environment for those who value merit and transparency.
