Pros

Projects can be interesting of you're lucky enough to get a good one. Remote work, even before covid. Pretty decent work-life balance up to a certain level.

Cons

Once you're on a project your manager (career adviser) doesn't care about your well-being anymore. Projects can be extremely incompatible with ones role. Pay and benefits are basic at best, pretty much all of the competition offers much better packages. Huge differences between UK and Ireland benefits as well. The UK doesn't care about Irish workers. If you're not well connected with leadership then you don't exist. Promotions are being decided behind closed doors. People will be kept at lower levels over fake and made-up reasons. Direct competition with all the other people on the same level. No women in leadership. None! Same with people of color, none! Just the usual white dudes.

Pros

A really nice office with perks and company culture that come from Accenture.

Cons

There is a prioritization with getting certifications and doing a lot of tasks outside of full time client work, just to get promoted. If you are in the bench and it’s a slow season, there is a high risk of getting laid off. You will lose your sense of purpose all for the trendy AI culture. The company thrives on buzz terms and marketing solutions rather than actually solving anything.
