      A lot of politics but worth the compensation

      Pros

      Lucky to be in a department with very understanding and supportive leaders. Also very good pay and benefits.

      Cons

      A lot of politics and culture of people deflecting work. People who already know the answers might hide it from another department because they don't want to get involved or sign off on something.
