      Pros

      The facilities and IT equipment are outstanding

      Cons

      Arthur Cox is not the meritocracy it promotes itself to be and instead prides itself on a toxic culture filled with elitist sociopaths. If you do not conform to this mindset you will never succeed. Organization is so poor and you will be expected to work unsociable hours when left with nothing to do during core hours. I doubt anyone in management outside of HR has been trained in people management.

      Pros

      Office looks nice and training is good, but honestly that is it.

      Cons

      They are highly discriminatory against people who have invisible disabilities, despite having a diversity and inclusion statement on their website. People are being terminated on the basis of their illness/disability and are kept on the payroll for longer than necessary, so they keep quiet.

      Pros

      Very prestigious firm, top calibre lawyers, good pay, great facilities. If you want to get ahead you’ll get great training and experiences here.

      Cons

      If you don’t do as implicitly expected, life will be tough for you. Forget plans during the week. Expect to work late hours. Good HR practices are not implemented. Expect to see colleagues crying from time to time! If a partner or senior associate is ‘difficult’ to work with nothing will be done if their billable hours are on point. There is a culture of fear and intimidation. Nobody causes any issues as they will be concerned about future implications on their career, with the firm, or any other law firm.
