Pros

legacy company has large contracts with big companies like airlines. Seems fairly stable externlly. Unlimited PTO and does not have the budget or focus to surveil their employees 24/7 like other big corporations. There are some genuinely good people that are great to work with and for. Product being sold actually works.

Cons

Being incompetent is rewarded. Execs and upper management all have AI psychosis and there is no movement in a flat structure. Board will do everything to line their pockets, but nothing to make every day work better for the workers.

Pros

- 2M contractual bonuses - Performance bonuses with clear calculations revealed (tied to ratings which is very transparent) - An amazing and caring CMO, unit heads and colleagues at that time - many opportunities to strategise and execute many marketing ideas with a sizable budget (again, this could be THEN because the market is different now) - enjoyed going to work and

Cons

- was slightly far from home - quit only because after covid needed to be back in the office a lot more

Pros

onboarding, company laptop and dinner

Cons

Cons * Strong office politics. Some people may publicly undermine or insult others instead of having constructive discussions. * If you ask questions or challenge something in meetings, there are cases where someone may say they’ll assign the task to you in front of everyone, which can feel intimidating and discourages open communication. * Limited visibility and participation. Ideas can be interrupted or shut down during team meetings, especially when they don’t align with management’s views. * Requirements are often unclear, and you need to chase information from specific people instead of having proper documentation. * While the company says overtime isn’t expected, there is often pressure to work extra hours to meet deadlines. Work-life balance can be difficult, and the environment can be stressful at times.
