Phone screen came a few weeks (?) after applying online, and after passing the phone screen, there was a video interview with two technical folk. The questions seemed relatively unrelated to the work, and seemed more like trying to use proxies as signal for whether I know stuff. The first interviewer left on time, but the second asked me to stay a bit and asked me even more tangentially related questions like if I had personal projects and if I had engineering projects (at least it felt like they were interested in more than just one thing, which I guess is good). Overall, the process seemed fine, but my recruiter was super unprofessional and sucked at communicating, and both of my interviewers kept their camera off which felt a bit odd.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to communicate effectively
The interviewers were straightforward and friendly, and explained the rest of the interview process and timeline at the end. Questions were relevant to the position, and they allowed time for me to ask them questions as well.
I applied online. I interviewed at OSG (Carol Stream, IL) in Mar 2025
Interview
I went through a quick phone screen with human resources. If you made it through that, you would then move onto a video call with the hiring manager. After that if you were selected you were sent an offer letter through email.
