First I had to do a Mechanical test which was pretty straight forward. Then I was invited the virtual assessment centre which is group call explaining the role, and then a one on one interview. They asked what my greatest achievement was, a time when I didn't achieve a desired outcome and at the end had to do a sales role play, where the I had to sell the interviewer a car, and also some competency questions
Very disappointing and unprofessional. I had a final stage interview in person and they said they'd get back to me in 5 working days. Almost a month later I had to hound them over the phone just to get a negative update with 0 feedback. Sales managers were nice at first, but after a while the whole thing just felt like an effort to make me second guess myself. They seemed completely uninterested in my skills and attraction towards the company and the role. Every time I said something positive they just asked these weird rhetorical questions that were completely unanswerable. It was like they were trying to talk me out of working there. Beforehand I was told that I didn't need to prepare much and that it would be 'less on the spot' than the Assessment Centre, which turned out to be a total lie. And then to go completely ghost mode on me after? Ridiculous. Nice office at least, even though the atmosphere was a bit stale and gloomy.
