Initial recruiter interview, then 2 hour 'take home test' sourcing for one of their roles, then reporting back through a Loom video. I completed the test and was immediately rejected with no feedback - when I requested feedback I was ignored. Recruitment 101, when a candidate gives hours of their time for interview / tests, you reject via a call with detailed feedback - candidates can easily become customers in the future. I feel I was just used to source their role for them, and this wasn't actually a real hiring process.

Interview
If I could sum up this experience in one sentence, it’d be cringey tech bro.
Random ‘process’ which doesn’t relate to your marketing abilities and instead assesses whether you’re ‘cool’ enough to work with the best 0.08% (I’d be curious to know how that is calculated?!).
They should run hiring like professionals and assess people on merit otherwise there will be issues as ElevenLabs scale. I’d be interested to understand their diversity stats given their hiring practices.
Reminder that ElevenLabs say they’re targeting enterprise and yet don’t act like it.

Interview
Very bad. We scheduled 1 hour interview. I mention every clearly I am going to start with brute force solution and then optimise it.
Used 20 minutes for first draft and the interviewer says good, but he decides to end the interview without letting me optimise the code and the interview finished 30 minutes earlier.
Also the interviewer seems to he not paying attention anyway
