Pros

Absolutely nothing it's a circus in there and all the minions who brown nose will never amount to anything if they don't leave

Cons

During my time at Vodafone there was a very accurate review written by a former employee who had a less than pleasant experience in red EDGE after being there for at least 2 and half years. They gave their honest opinion about their experiences and what the witnessed during their time there. When it came to light that the review had been written the mamagement team went into panic mode and in an attempt to discredit the honest review called on some old reliable favourites to write contradicting reviews about how fantastic it is to work in red EDGE. About a year later another employee left and wrote another very damning yet very honest and accurate review only for it to be met with the same influx of orcastrated positive reviews by the big bosses and their minions. It's farsicle in that place I think anyone with even the slightest ounce of self respect for their career will avoid going to work there. I left last year and still keep in touch with some old colleagues and I've heard of an almost mass exodus of tenured staff because of how bad it is in there.

Pros

Nice office space, with more floors of furniture than the other company. if you are into learning blame game, love chatting with different team about stuff unrelated to job and playing office politics and are 'native' than this is the company for you. However avoid if you are non native. You will more than likely be stressed out with overload and handling the office politics. There is a reason why you will only see women in the name of diversity but not non natives unless you are a contractor. And this kind of policy is an unspoken norm as i was surprised to hear certain things in meetings that i wouldn't normally hear in any other big Faangs. They have checkboxed certain policies.

Cons

Absolute garbage level of management layer. Project teams are unnecessarily bloated, just to beg for more funding for the next year. They have unqualified people handling projects that they have no idea about. They really need a proper re-structuring and have qualified people handling certain projects which they have prior experience in, not based on being 'native'. Its almost hilarious the chats that happen between the team members due to inexperience and a bloated manager who has no idea about the project that he is handling. Its like a puppet show

Red Edge Inside Sales - Survival instructions!

Pros

Free Parking Free mobile phone plan

Cons

As per other authentic reviews this place is to be avoided except to use as stepping stone to your real career choice. Red Edge is run by a megalomaniac who carries with them the bruised ego of a 5 year old. As a sales person you will be 3 steps removed from this individual and working with Team Leaders who care about you, although they could do with more experience. If you are in any other role that comes into contact with the megalomaniac, beware. When attending meeting’s, you will be spoken at for most of the meeting, nod and smile, take notes as you will likely be quizzed on minor points weeks later. At the end of the meeting when you are given your allotted minute out of the hour, regurgitate what you have been told to show you are a good obedient listener, add a very small piece of your own to demonstrate initiative, ensure it doesn’t change any of the instructions given though. As you will have been hired as an expert in your field, you will probably have sound experience to share that will improve Red Edge, DO NOT share your opinion with the megalomaniac. This is seen as a threat to the child ego and will be met with resistance and consequences. If you are on the sales teams copy whatever your colleagues are doing. You will receive very little relevant training to your role so this is your best choice. Depending on the team you are assigned to you may be lucky/unlucky, depends on your perspective. Some teams rely entirely on outside help to meet their targets and can cruise along just doing admin work for their customers. Other teams need to work at their sales and persuade customers to sign up for products. The average tenure at Vodafone is low and Red Edge as a part of Vodafone is lower, why?
