Pros

The people I worked with directly were lovely. 35 hour week was appreciated. Workload was low until recently.

Cons

Where to begin? Training: almost non-existent. Consisted of videos or slapped together PowerPoints or PDFs. Considering the sums of money we were dealing with, I think we should have been better trained so we had some confidence in what we were dealing with. Communication: was awful. We should not be put on a queue for a product we know nothing about and have not been trained on or even told was in the pipeline. I’ve never worked for a company who just don’t tell you that you’re going to be working on a new product until after the calls start coming in. There was zero accountability or apology for putting us in that position. Pay: well below market rate in Ireland, which I was willing to accept until our workload became unmanageable in the space of about two weeks. 6 months of service and you’re rewarded with a €17 voucher on their rewards site but the minimum spend was €20. That’s what you’re worth to this company. Apparently there is a bonus scheme but I didn’t stick around long enough to find out how that was. This company is the cheapest I’ve ever worked for so I can’t imagine it’ll be life changing. Progression: very little in the way of progression. The company offer to pay for APA exams but you’re still way underpaid if you stay in the new role. Workload: was fine until a new client randomly (and I do mean randomly) came on board. We were completely overworked with this new client and our team has been shortstaffed since my tenure began as it was. I had to work days I was sick as a courtesy to my colleagues as we had zero cover available.

Pros

None at all. Would never recommend this job!

Cons

Worst place to work. Bad communication, awful training, make you do all the dirty work management don’t want to do themselves. Worst pay ever!

Pros

Amazing coworkers. Great location if you're on the Dublin DART line.

Cons

-Some rude and condescending leaders. -Has not been a company event for over 2 years. -Management and coworkers try their best with what they have. HR team try but are just like us - both have no control or say on company direction, really understaffed with 2 HR colleagues to 500 people. -Sedgwick has twice as many recruiters than HR staff AKA a huge turnover problem, sad to see my friends leave all the time. -Poor benefits package - statutory minimum no health or pension for Joe Soaps. -Depressing lack of supports, EAP service but nothing else. -Corporate set the bar so low on salary and experience which opens the door to unprofessional talent .
