Cons

Terrible company to work for with employees threatened with performance improvement plans after 3 months. Very arrogant management team that don't care about high levels of staff turnover. Not a nice place to work. Avoid at all costs. Account managers are pushed very hard with nothing quite good enough to satisfy

The training in Manchester was amazing and met some great people from around Europe that I am still in contact with.

Cons

Sat around for about 4 months literally doing nothing. Salary is not fantastic but I would say is about right. Was left on my own for large parts of the week to do 'e-learning' with no guidance felt very isolated from the rest of the office. Could basically come and go as I pleased and no one seemed to care. I was really won over to joining Hilti by their supposed family focused values but then was suddenly given a life changing ultimatum by Hilti and decided to leave. Disappointed with how this went, not sure if there was disorganisation due to changes at the top but to have a new starter basically just left to their own devices is poor in my eyes. If it was a case of me being a poor employee I would understand but I was assured that was not the case. They have good people working there and a fantastic set of products so yes once again I am disappointed with how things went. Be careful when they ask are you mobile, It seems to mean are you willing to relocate where you live in Hilti.

Used to be a great place to work but not anymore. They invest in your learning and training initially but it's sink or swim after that.

Cons

Hilti no longer have their employees best interests at heart. Sales targets are now wildly unachievable, micro management is rife, terrible communication from the leadership team and all this is showing by the very high volume of people still exiting the business on a daily basis. You're now just a number
