Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in SAP Development to join our IT team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP applications and solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements, design technical solutions, ensure the successful implementation of SAP projects and drive operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in SAP technologies, demonstrate a proven track record of successful SAP project implementations, exhibit strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
Design and Development: Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of SAP solutions, including enhancements, customizations, and integrations using SAP BTP, ABAP, SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and other SAP technologies (CAP, HANA Cloud etc.)
Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization
Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals
Qualifications
Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming, including RESTful programming, CDS, modern extensibility, etc.
Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform, RISE, and SAP integration technologies (IDocs, RFC, BAPI, SOAP, REST)
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to and/or knowledge of SAP new-dimensional technologies like AEM, SAP Datasphere, Flexible Workflow, and Joule are a plus.
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Limerick three times per week, at minimum
