First round was with an HR representative. Her nice manners and energetic personality made me feel very comfortable. So it was more like a pleasant chat than anything else. Of course many behavioral questions were asked as well as a small technical quiz in various languages just to check on some basic knowledge. She was very friendly, always willing to answer all of my questions even through email. She then sent me a take-home exercise which involved heavy concurrency in golang. If somebody is familiar with such concepts then it can be done in under 3 hours. It was challenging, but I prefer this way over having to solve time-framed leetcode exercises. Second round was with 2 directors and a senior software engineer. Although at the beginning I was quite nervous, their positive attitude made me feel good. I especially liked the fact that each and everyone had a diverse technical background and seemed to love what they do. Having the exercise as the base of our discussion, we talked about code reviewing, code structuring, clean code principles, concurrency and a lot of other stuff. Again they answered all of my questions, but I wish we had an extra 30 minutes to ask more questions.
