No one talks about the depression that comes with being a tech creative with so much to offer, so much intelligence and skillset, and still yet cannot find the right platform or establishment that will believe in you enough to employ you to grow with the firm and be the best you can be. You see a lot of people get by with far less. Its disheartening! The few times people or firms reach out to you, they only want to use you for something or tap your intelligence for a minute. Its never enough!
Does anyone feel like tailoring resumes for every single tech application takes way too much time compared to the number of responses you actually get? I understand why customization matters but sometimes I spend an hour adjusting keywords just to get rejected automatically anyway. How detailed are you making your applications these days? Would love to know if anyone found a strategy that consistently led to interviews instead of silence.
Is this really true? I can’t believe it. https://www.hindustantimes.com/trending/us/exgoogle-contractor-says-indians-hire-indians-in-silicon-valley-there-s-a-network-101778646125511-amp.html
Hello, I am so tired to place the application for job opportunities. I want to make the recruiters to find me with good remote opportunities. How?
What’s the best way to explain being laid off during interviews without sounding negative? I know layoffs are common in tech right now but I still feel awkward talking about it when interviewers ask why I left my last role.
I am confused about what you are looking for. If it's a new role, please add more information about your background and the impact you've had, as this helps recruiters in the community.
You have a great background, and I would use that to create a pitch about the impact you've made in another place with your skills. I see recruiters in this community all the time, and they always ask for that.
